Ed was born and raised in Belfast during one of the most testing times the country has known.
He was educated in Scotland, earning a degree in Risk Management and Finance and became an algorithmic bond trader, and equities trader, for Hedge Funds and Investment Banks in London.
5 years ago Ed made the move to Australia - having never even visited! - just to get out of the pressure cooker environment which was London and trading, and after a year stopped trading and moved into real estate.
After 18 months, Ed opened a real estate agency.
A few months ago things came crashing down. Ed had a breakdown and was diagnosed with extreme anxiety and severe stress issues....issues that culminated in alcoholism as a coping mechanism.
Ed has now given up the booze and the heavy smoking habit and is keen to share some of the more technical skills he's learned to accept his issues, and overcome them.
